Marina Marjanović graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Belgrade University, Serbia in 2002. In 2007, she received a PhD diploma with honors in the field of telecommunications (Signal Processing) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. During her PhD studies, she received a scholarship from the Spanish company "Telefonica Moviles". From 2007 to 2013, she worked at the largest Spanish company, "Indra", on the development of equipment for Air Traffic Control Systems. Since October 2013, she has been a Full Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences at "Singidunum" University and the founder of the Software and Data group within Singidunum University. She has participated in several internationally funded projects. Her research focuses on leveraging machine learning and deep learning techniques for various applications in the fields of natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and medical image processing. Her research extends to medical image processing, where she applies machine learning algorithms to analyze medical images, such as X-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans. Her main goal is to develop automated systems that can assist in disease diagnosis, image segmentation, and anomaly detection, thereby aiding healthcare professionals in providing accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
