This course is intended for students in grades 9–11 and recent high school graduates who are preparing for university studies or plan to take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). It focuses on building strong mathematical foundations required for academic success.
While the course develops all four core language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, it is not specifically designed as an IELTS preparation course. However, the academic English skills developed in this program, including grammar, vocabulary, and structured communication, provide a strong foundation for IELTS success. Students who plan to take the IELTS exam are encouraged to dedicate additional time to focused IELTS preparation alongside this course.
At least a pre-intermediate level of English is expected, as English is the primary language of instruction. This level is necessary to fully engage with the course content, meet assessment requirements, and prepare for future studies. Without a sufficient foundation in English, it would be difficult to achieve the expected outcomes and later enroll at the American University of Technology or other international universities.
