Students testimonials
This course is intended for students in grades 9–11 and recent high school graduates who are preparing for university studies or plan to take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). It focuses on building strong mathematical foundations required for academic success.
A solid foundation in high school-level mathematics is highly recommended, given the demands of university-level studies. However, the course includes revision sessions to reinforce key concepts, allowing motivated students, even with basic knowledge, to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and progress successfully throughout the course.
University programs in engineering, business, economics, and technology rely heavily on algebra, functions, trigonometry, probability, and basic calculus, all of which are covered in this course to ensure readiness.
The course includes two math classes per week, each lasting 2 hours. In addition, students should plan time for independent study, as regular assignments will be given to reinforce classroom learning and support steady progress.
Yes. This course is designed to support students applying not only to the American University of Technology, but also to other leading international universities in Uzbekistan and abroad where mathematics is a key admission requirement. Additionally, students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance by the end of the course may be considered for a 100% scholarship covering four years of undergraduate study at AUT, subject to selection criteria.
Yes. Students who successfully pass the final examination and maintain regular attendance will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for three years and can be used as part of the AUT admission process.
Yes. Student learning is supported through active participation and regular homework assignments, including weekly practice problems to reinforce understanding. Progress is monitored through quizzes and monthly midterm examinations. The program also incorporates case studies and real-world applications to strengthen practical skills. The course concludes with a comprehensive, university-style final examination designed to assess overall preparedness and mastery of the subject.
At present, financial assistance is not available for preparatory programs. However, AUT offers a range of full and partial scholarships for its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. For further information, prospective students are encouraged to contact the Admissions Team.
