Dr. Aktam Jalilov

Dr. Aktam T. Jalilov (DSc, EDD) has expertise in global politics, regional stability, and education. He holds an MA in Public Administration from Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey. He is a PhD candidate in Turkish Studies and conducted doctoral research on geopolitics in 2010 at the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of Uzbekistan. Dr A.Jalilov earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from Nagoya University in 2025. 

He has served as a Research Fellow at Hosei University and held research positions at Harvard University (DCRES) and Indiana University (IAUNRC). He has established academic collaborations with UNDP, UNESCO, the Japanese Foundation, the British Council, OSCE, the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program, and CIEFL in India. 

Dr. A.Jalilov has presented at prominent international academic forums, including Harvard, Indiana University, and Princeton University. He is the author of more than 30 publications, including ten books, notably a textbook titled “World Politics” and a co-authored tutorial “Fundamentals of Civil Society”. Additionally, he has participated in interviews discussing critical global issues such as the Russia-Ukraine relations, Cuban Missile Crisis, NATO, the Turkish Coup attempt, and the situation in Pakistan. 

Last five years He serves as Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council, and a Chairman of the Academic Seminar of “Political Institutes, Processes and Technologies” at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of Uzbekistan. Dr. A. Jalilov mentors over ten graduate students, six of whom have already been awarded doctoral degrees. In parallel to his primary position, He is a member of the International Center of Lesson Studies at the Nagoya University.   

Dr. A. Jalilov enjoys playing tennis and soccer in his leisure time.
