AUT x UT Model United Nations Conference

On February 22, 2026, the AUT x UT Model United Nations (MUN) conference successfully took place at the American University of Technology, bringing together motivated students interested in diplomacy, international relations, and global challenges.

Organized by the AUT x UT MUN Organizing Committee with the support of Uniteens and AUT, the conference gathered delegates from various educational institutions. Participants had the opportunity to strengthen their public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills while engaging in discussions on important international issues.

The event simulated official United Nations committee sessions, where delegates represented different countries, debated global challenges, and worked together to draft and vote on resolutions. The program included an Opening Ceremony, committee debates, resolution drafting, voting procedures, and a Closing Ceremony with awards for outstanding delegates.

Special arrangements were made in consideration of the holy month of Ramadan, including a coffee break and an iftar for fasting participants, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.

The conference became an important platform for students to exchange ideas, practice diplomacy, and develop leadership and communication skills. AUT expresses its gratitude to the organizing committee, volunteers, partners, and all delegates who contributed to the success of the event.
