AUT Welcomes Sarah B. Rogers for Campus Visit and Academic Exchange

On June 4, 2026, American University of Technology (AUT) had the honor of welcoming Sarah B. Rogers, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, to its campus in Tashkent. During her visit, Ms. Rogers toured the university facilities and met with AUT leadership, faculty, and students to learn more about the institution’s mission and academic approach.

The campus tour provided an opportunity to showcase AUT’s state-of-the-art learning environment, innovative teaching methods, and commitment to delivering a world-class American-style education in Uzbekistan. University representatives introduced Ms. Rogers to AUT’s academic programs, highlighting the integration of practical, industry-relevant learning experiences, student-centered instruction, and the development of critical thinking and leadership skills.

As part of her visit, Ms. Rogers also visited the American Corner located on the AUT campus, where she learned about its role in promoting educational and cultural exchange, English language learning, and community engagement opportunities for students and the wider public.

The visit underscored the importance of international educational partnerships and the growing role of AUT in preparing future leaders equipped with the knowledge, skills, and global perspective needed to succeed in an interconnected world.
