Jahongir Niyozov

Registrar

Jahongir Niyozov is a development and education-management professional whose work bridges international investment, digital transformation, and institutional governance. Trained in English Language and Literature (BA) and International Hospitality & Business Management (Master’s), he brings a blend of communication, strategy, and operational rigor to higher education. 

Before joining the University as Registrar, Mr. Niyozov held senior roles with national institutions, including the Uzbekistan Electronics & Electrotechnics Association under the Presidential Administration, IT Park Uzbekistan, and the International Agriculture University. His portfolio includes securing over USD 1 million in external funding and leading projects in game-industry development, e-government innovation, and industrial modernization in partnership with the World Bank, USAID, UNDP, and EBRD. He has also managed student-success and academic-services functions, improving satisfaction, retention, and policy compliance. 

 A recipient of the UNICEF Social Impact Innovation Award, Mr. Niyozov is certified in leadership (Yale University), Successful negotiations strategies (University of Michigan), and digital governance (UNITAR). He is fluent in English, Uzbek, Russian and Tadjik, and works to advance academic quality, enrich the student experience, consultation, and promote thoughtful, data-informed decision-making across the University.
