Mr. Becker founded Laureate Education in 1999, serving as Chairman and CEO and building the company into the largest higher education company in the world. He co-founded Sterling Partners in 1983 and since then, the firm has become a leading investor in over 80 investments over the years in education and other industries. Doug serves on various Boards related to his work at Sterling and Cintana as well as on non-profit Boards as part of his commitment to community service.
