The American University of Technology (AUT), powered by Arizona State University (ASU), is proud to announce its collaboration with Teach For Uzbekistan (TFU) in support of the 2025 Summer Institute – a flagship training and leadership development program for aspiring educators.
As part of this initiative, AUT is supporting both the selection of fellows and the design and delivery of professional development modules that prepare new teachers to work in some of Uzbekistan’s most challenging and high-potential educational contexts.
This year, more than 40 prospective fellows were selected through a competitive, multi-stage process. They will take part in an intensive five-week training program designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to succeed in the classroom and lead within their communities.
The Summer Institute curriculum focuses on strengthening both pedagogical expertise and essential soft and leadership skills. Training modules cover topics such as teaching in large classrooms, collaborative learning strategies, meaningful student assessment, communication and public speaking, and the use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. These components are designed to support a forward-thinking, student-centered approach to education.
We invite like-minded institutions, organizations, and individuals to join us in shaping the future of education in Uzbekistan. Whether through knowledge sharing, mentorship, research, or strategic partnership, your collaboration can help expand access to quality learning and create lasting impact in the communities that need it most.
