The American University of Technology (AUT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Uzcosmos Agency, marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration in the field of space education and technology in Uzbekistan.

This partnership aligns with AUT’s commitment to delivering forward-looking, globally relevant education and preparing the next generation of engineers and technology leaders. Uzcosmos continues to actively expand its cooperation with higher education institutions to support the development of space education, train a new generation of engineers, and foster young professionals working with advanced space technologies.

Under the memorandum, the parties will collaborate on a range of initiatives, including the development of joint STEM and academic programs, knowledge exchange involving international experts, and the establishment of a student-led Space Club at AUT.

The agreement also includes the implementation of hands-on student projects, as well as cooperation in the fields of CubeSat technologies and artificial satellites.

This collaboration will provide AUT students with unique opportunities to engage in practical, cutting-edge projects and gain valuable experience in the space technology sector.
