Hosted by American University of Technology (AUT),The Tashkent Academy for PPP and Infrastructure (TAFPI), an initiative led by Synergy Consulting conducted an intensive two-day executive workshop on Project Finance and Financial Modelling on 19–20 November. The program brought together professionals from various institutions to strengthen their understanding of project finance structures and the fundamentals of financial modelling for large-scale infrastructure and PPP projects.

TAFPI plays an active role in advancing capacity development in PPPs and infrastructure finance across Uzbekistan and the wider region. Through its collaboration with AUT, the Academy supports the professional growth of specialists engaged in planning, evaluating, and implementing complex infrastructure initiatives.

Over the course of two days, TAFPI experts delivered a comprehensive curriculum covering:

• procurement methods;

• project finance frameworks;

• project bankability assessment;

• sources of financing;

• foundations of financial modelling.

At the conclusion of the program, participants received professional certificates recognizing their enhanced knowledge and newly developed skills in project finance and financial modelling.
