On April 8, 2025, a significant milestone was reached for Uzbekistan’s academic and professional ecosystem. A Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed between the American University of Technology (AUT) and UZCARD, a key player in the UCMG ecosystem, during a ceremony held at UZCARD’s central office.
The agreement was signed by AUT President Dr. Said Irandoust and UCMG CEO Mr. David Melikidze, laying the foundation for strategic cooperation in education, talent development, and career advancement for young professionals.
What does this partnership include?
Under the terms of the MoU, AUT and UZCARD will implement several joint initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry:
Development and launch of a Mini MBA program for employees of the UZCARD group of companies, focused on modern management skills and digital leadership;
Internship and career placement opportunities for AUT students and graduates, offered on a competitive basis;
Collaboration on cross-marketing and educational projects that promote skill development and a culture of lifelong learning.
Additionally, the agreement includes the following benefits:
UCMG and UZCARD employees and their children will receive a 25% tuition discount at AUT;
AUT representatives will be invited to participate in professional events and festivals organized by UZCARD.
