On 28 October 2024, the Center for English Language and Communication started a special module – Learning Townhall - for AUT students. As part of the Center for Life Long Learning’s vision of providing advanced skills and career development, the CELC is offering this to all the students of AUT School of Business as a customised certificate course.
This is a module of 12 ‘townhalls’ during the semester, where students are introduced, exposed and trained in various aspects of Business Communication and Leadership Skills. The format of the course is workshop-based sessions, master classes by experts, brainstorming sessions and presentations by students. Initiated on a project-based learning approach, our students will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment by the Center for Life Long Learning, American University of Technology.
This will also orient our students to join globally acclaimed certifications by Arizona State University’s Global Launch and Career Catalyst certifications.
The AUT Learning Townhall has the following modules:

• Presentation Skills
• Non-verbal Communication
• Business Etiquettes
• CV and Online Profile Making
• Leadership Communication
• Persuasion and Negotiation Skills
Every Monday, International Trade Students come together to deliberate on various aspects of Business Communication and collaborate to enhance their career preparedness. In the coming semester, the Learning Townhall will also be offered to Software Engineering as well as to the Master's degree students.
